The waiting game. . .

So last night me(Kris) and my brother were watching TV at my house and Amanda sits up the fastest I have seen in a while. I constantly think about how it is going to be when we realize she is in labor. I think to myself, "How is that going to feel knowing that my son will be here in a couple of hours?" Turns out it was not labor pains or a contraction but my son just stretching my wife's pubic bone. He just keeps on moving further down everyday. Also Amanda's contractions totaled to four yesterday. I think we will have more to write about next week after we get closer to having our son. More to come.

Any second now...

I could technically go into labor at any moment. Any second now could be one of the most exciting moments of my life. At any point during this night our lives could completely change forever (truthfully they already have). While I'm typing this, I might have a contraction. God is incredible! To not know what tomorrow or even midnight is going to look like is absolutely incredible.

Kris made a photo album on iPhoto (I can never even find the picture after I upload it onto iPhoto) of my belly over the past few months. While I was looking at it Grace's Amazing Hands by Dave Barnes was playing on iTunes (he's a Mac lover). I couldn't help but to be overwhelmed with love for our Creator. What a blessing to watch your baby grow in your body and to watch God mold your husband into a dad.

What I learned today...
Just, trust and believe.
