Ever since Jack was born we've heard he looks just like his Dad or just like his Mom and some even feel that Jack is a perfect combo of the both of us. We've heard so many different things that we don't know what to think anymore. I can't look at him and see all of me or Amanda. So I thought we would leave it up to people who read our blog. I found baby pictures of me and Amanda so you can compare.

Amanda will post a better update soon of our almost 9 month old.

8 month photo shoot

My monkey, you are doing so many neat things right now. I love to watch you learn and explore about as much as I love to watch you play and laugh with your daddy. You are so curious about everything you encounter. You love your Cheerios and vegetable snack sticks. I love to watch you eat because you eat everything with such excitement. More than anything you like to make mommy and daddy smile. You start off our day with your smiles and we look forward to it every morning.

The Jack Hudson

For those of you who don't know the story here it is. Kris's dad has rebuilt a Mustang each for Kris and Kurt. Kate gets the 78' Corvette it's pretty. About a month ago Gene (Kris's dad) surprised us with the finished product and shocked us with another very special gift. Since Kris's car was restored to look like a racing Mustang Gene named it Jack Hudson. His car is a classic which is never sold, only passed down and one day will be Jack's. We were so surprised and of course I cried when I saw Jack's name on the car. It's a very special gift for an incredible husband and a precious little boy.

A few weeks ago they entered the cars into a car show here in town. It was fun to see people stare at the boy's cars and watch them take pictures of it. In the end Kris's car won first place and Kurt's won second. We got a sweet plaque from it.



Next to me I think this is Kris's favorite thing to look at.



Jack is 8 months old and already owns (shares with his dad) a car. This is so special!

Please excuse me. I was trying to move the stroller without running it into someone or a very expensive car.


This is Kurt's mustang. It's been done for some time now, but still exciting to see and hear.



Next to Kris's car this one is my favorite. It's a Roadster which means nothing to me except it's what Ryan Phillipe drove in Cruel Intentions. This car really is a beaut.


The inside of this car is beautiful!



This is the Mustang that one 1st place. The "Elizabeth" was really pretty.

7 Months

As usual I am playing catch up. The following pictures should catch you up on last month.


Isn't he ADORABLE. It was pretty cold last week so I put Jack's hat on him in an effort to keep him nice and toasty without having a toasty electric bill.


This one was too cute not to add. This is Jack's summer hat. We're reading for the summer sun and fun!



He pulls up on everything. Nothing is safe. He's been pulling up for a little while now, so he's actually started to LET GO. The only problem with him letting go is he can't stand up on his own so he plumits to either his rear or our hands (blocking his face from hitting something).

Jack mastered crawling at about 7 months. He's super fast now!
