Goodbye poo!

I don't have much time. Today Jack is finally feeling better which means I am getting some stuff done. Our poor baby has had diarrhea since Wed. Occasionally it would come out both ends. We took this video on Monday evening. He is starting to "talk" so much more. We love the sound of his sweet little voice. I'm sure Kris and I sound absolutely ridiculous to anyone else but Jack loves our voices :)
Kara, thank you for those lap pads!

Boerne

My boys taking a nap together

Kate and I watching the cool water in the hot sun :)

Kate lovin' on Jack

He looks like such a big boy in his car seat

Jack went on the second road trip of his little 9 week old life this weekend. Thank goodness he does such a great job in the car. I think Mama Kitty that's what Kate came up with, but it's yet to be used and Grandpa name to be decided were pleasantly surprised at how well he did. It was supposed to be a weekend full of tubing, floating on the river and time in the canoe. Since the area has received so little rain the water was extremely low. I don't know if you've heard but there have been 100 cases of cryptosporidium (parasite found in the water) found in Texas this summer. Since I am a paranoid person and Mama Kitty is a smart woman she suggested we not get in the water. On Saturday Kate and I put on our bathing suits and walked down the hill to watch the water in 100 degree weather. It's a good thing we are fun people though :) I think Kris and Kate had fun watching me attempt to skip rocks. All in all, it was a fun weekend with family. I know Jack had the time of his little life because his Aunt Kate is ohh so entertaining, Mama Kitty just talks and talks to him and he likes her sweet voice, and Pops as I try to decide what to call Grandpa tells really great stories and is very attentive. The next three weekends will be very busy. This weekend we'll be here. I'll be trying to catch up on stuff at the house, then we go to Dallas to see Heather and Dave, then to San Antonio for Labor Day. I'll keep you posted with pictures of our growing baby boy.

I figured it out!

It looks a little different, huh? With some focus and procrastination I figured out how to improve our blog. I should have been working but this was all of a sudden much more important than anything Big Brothers Big Sisters has to offer me. I do love my job though. We just learned today that we are going to Boerne this weekend. Expect some pictures at the beginning of next week. That's right I vowed to be a better blogger. Jack's pretty adorable so there should be some great pictures. Tonight Kris and I took Jack on his first walk on the ACU track. He loved it, and actually fell asleep. When we left the house I thought it would be a nice slow walk. Before I knew it I was sweating and pushing a stroller up a hill. Kris had Lilly so he was no help. Should've known...we do live on "the hill". Anyhow, we got back home and I was hungry and sweating. So much for our stroll around campus.

2 Months!!

Jack turned 2 months old yesterday at 6:08pm! I can't believe how much he's grown in the past few weeks. His little personality is so funny. He definitely LOVES his Lilly. When Lilly is around he will just watch her and smile constantly. Kris and I love watching them interact because they are both so stinkin' curious about each other, it's adorable. There is a part of me that still gets nervous, because Lilly does weight 115 lbs :) I can't wait for the days when they play with each other and Jack can lay down on his Lilly. Life has definitely changed but I don't ever want it to go back to the way it was before. We are loving life and learning so much more about God's faithfulness everyday.
